2. What we collect
Enquiry and booking details you give us directly: your name, email address, phone number, country, travel dates, party composition and any message you write. Newsletter subscriptions (email address only). Anonymous usage data (pages visited, approximate device type) to keep the website fast and useful. Wishlist items are stored locally in your browser and are not sent to our servers unless you contact us.
3. Why we collect it
To answer enquiries and prepare tailor-made proposals; to manage bookings with our suppliers (lodges, airlines, parks); to send the newsletter you asked for; to meet legal and accounting obligations in Tanzania; and to keep the website secure and performing well.
4. What we never do
We never sell your personal information. We never share it with advertisers. We never send marketing emails you did not ask for.
5. Who we share it with
Only the partners required to deliver your journey — for example the lodge holding your room or the airline issuing your internal flight — and only the details they need. Our payment and office systems are access-controlled, and staff are bound by confidentiality.
6. Data retention & security
Enquiry and booking records are retained as long as needed for legal, tax and warranty purposes, then deleted. Passwords (for administrative accounts) are stored only as bcrypt hashes. All traffic to this website is encrypted in transit.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of functional cookies and browser storage: your language preference and wishlist persist locally; security cookies protect the admin area. No third-party advertising trackers are used.
8. Your rights
You may request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing us; you may unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in every email. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
9. Changes to this policy
