Is It Actually Safe?
Yes — with professional guiding. Animals see the vehicle as one large, boring object; incidents involve people who left vehicles or ignored briefings. Follow your guide and the wilderness is remarkably peaceful. Cities deserve more caution than the bush.
What Does a Game Drive Feel Like?
Slow, attentive, thrilling. You drift at walking pace, engine off, listening. Your guide reads tracks, alarms and vultures. Then — suddenly — everything happens at once, and an hour evaporates in seconds.
Will I See the Big Five?
On our northern-circuit itineraries, overwhelmingly yes. Ngorongoro and Tarangire concentrate wildlife superbly. Rhino is the usual last piece — Ngorongoro is Tanzania's most reliable place.
Are the Camps Comfortable?
Comfortable to genuinely luxurious — real beds, hot showers, excellent chefs. Luxury tented camps feel like boutique hotels that happen to have zebras outside the mesh.
Food and Water?
Filtered water is provided throughout; food in good camps is outstanding — garden vegetables, fresh fruit, grills and Tanzanian specialities like urojo and pilau. Tell us allergies in advance.
How Do I Choose the Operator?
Ask three questions: Are you Tanzanian-owned? Who exactly is my guide? Can I speak with past guests? We answer yes, by name, and gladly.

There is no grass-sickness. There is bumpy dirt-road wobble — our Land Cruisers' suspension and strategic seating handle it; bring motion-sickness tablets if you are sensitive.
